      Edye Rayner Bonno, 57, of Canton, died Sunday, February 7, 2010, in a snowmobile accident on Mackinac Island. She is the daughter of Eric and Irene Rayner and was born February 15, 1952 in Livonia. She holds a bachelor's degree in secondary education from Central Michigan University and taught at Huron Valley High School and worked as a senior manager of training for Comcast.

      Doug McDonnell passed away December 10th 2009 at the age of 60. Doug’s childhood fascination with horses first brought him to Mackinac Island the summer following his high school graduation. He was employed by Mackinac Island Carriage Tours as a teamster/ tour driver.
