Kelly Bean Hired as New Assistant to Mayor Doud
     Mayor Margaret Doud has hired Kelly Bean as her administrative assistant. The new post replaces the full-time City Administrator position, which was abandoned in July 2003 with the departure of Gary Lennard.

Lydia Porter Earns Scholarships
     Lydia Porter, a senior at Harbor Springs High School, has received a University of Michigan Scholar Recognition Award, which provides full tuition for four years of undergraduate study, and a $1,500 University of Michigan Regents Merit Scholarship to be used toward residence hall fees.
