Visitors Had a‘Grand’ Time

     My 11-year-old son Jarred and his friend, Evan Stevenson and I spent this past weekend at Grand Hotel. We enjoyed the sunlight, Bob Tagatz’s private, behind-the-scenes tour of the hotel, sledding, snowshoeing, and a couple of carriage rides.

No More Condos
     Being a lover of history, it has been with a heavy heart that I have watched programs on The History Channel titled "Save our History" and have seen how battlefields of our Civil War have been developed and desecrated with urban blight such as parking lots.
