Park To Charge 50 Cents Admission May 14 and May 15 As a note of appreciation to local residents, Mackinac State Historic Park will be offering 50-cent admission to Fort Mackinac, Colonial Michilimackinac, and Historic Mill Creek Saturday, May 14, and Sunday, May 15. The offer is open to all residents of Cheboygan, Emmett, and Mackinac counties. Youth aged 6 to 17 pay just 25 cents while children five and under can enter free. The Residents Appreciation weekend is a traditional way the Mackinac parks thank local residents for their year-around support of the parks. Fort Mackinac, Colonial Michilimackinac, and Historic Mill creek are open daily until October 9. Regular admission for Fort Mackinac and colonial Michilimackinac is $9.50 for adults and $6 for children. Rates for Historic Mill Creek are $7.50 for adults and $4.50 for children. Children five and under are admitted free.
