Clarks To Join Arthritis Walk May 21
Nine-year-old Lou Clark was diagnosed with Juvenile Dermatomyositis (JDM) at age four and is now in remission, in part owing to the progress in arthritis treatment made over the years, said Mrs. Clark. “Arthritis is the leading cause of disability in Michigan and we hope that individuals and businesses might consider making a donation to the Arthritis Foundation by pledging to our walk team,” she added. The Arthritis Foundation funds research in osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis and more than 100 other connective tissue diseases. Checks can be made out to the Arthritis Foundation and mailed to Lou Clark, POB 716, Mackinac Island, MI 49757.
