Excessive Load Causes Outage

A brief period of darkness was experienced Friday, May 20, when a reclosure in a switching station caused a power outage. Edison Sault Electric Company reported that an excessive load on the circuit caused the outage. The company did some additional switching to balance the service load, and reported that the system was restored. The outage lasted almost an hour.
