Wanted: Volunteers For Lilac Festival Events June 10-19

Volunteers are needed to assist with events during this year’s Lilac Festival, said Mary Slevin, executive director of the Mackinac Island Tourism Bureau. Help is needed distributing information, greeting visitors, and assisting tourists with directions and information. Event volunteers are also needed for boat cruises, tours, shows, concerts, the grand parade, the dog and pony parade, and the drive-in movie.

The 56th Mackinac Island Lilac Festival runs from Friday, June 10, through Sunday, June 19.

Volunteers will receive complimentary tickets to select events throughout the festival.
