Health Volunteers To Meet at Grand Hotel

The Michigan Association of Healthcare Advocates will meet at Grand Hotel Tuesday, June 14, through Thursday, June 16, for its 56th annual meeting and educational institute. More than 300 members from around the state are expected to attend the event.

The organization has 30,000 members and comprises six districts containing 115 auxiliaries whose volunteers have donated more than 2.9 million hours of service to their respective hospitals. They also have raised $9.9 million for Michigan hospitals.

This year’s keynote speaker is Tim Richardson, who will discuss life-changing success strategies. The organization provides services, education, and leadership training to its members in addition to support to the Michigan Health and Hospital Association.
