Library Book Sale Raises $812

Chelsea Storms (left) of Clio and Joan Zak of Novi escape the nasty weather of Saturday afternoon by looking through books at the Mackinac Island Public Library’s annual book sale. Both were here for the weekend; Ms. Storms ran in the race earlier in the morning and Ms. Zak got engaged on the porch of Grand Hotel. The sale raised $812 to buy new books for the Library.
