Excitement Builds for 6th Potter Book

“Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” is nearing its release date and Island Bookstore is prepared for the magical event. The store will be open at midnight July 16 to give away pre-ordered books and sell new ones. All those who pre-ordered a book will receive a free Harry Potter totebag. The store will also have refreshments and giveaways.

Written by British author J.K. Rowling, the book is one of the most-anticipated releases of the summer. In July 2003, when the fifth installment of the Harry Potter series reached shelves, more than 100 people attended the Island Bookstore celebration.
