Fort Mackinac Kids’ Day

Children enjoy a game of cat and mouse at Fort Mackinac Kids’ Day Saturday, June 18. They joined with park interpreters to play Victorian games as part of the Lilac Festival celebration.

Wawaskamo Golf Links Begins Member Mixed Events

Thirty-three players participated in a scramble tournament at Wawashkamo Golf Links Wednesday, June 15, the first member mixed event of the summer.

Winners, with a score of 34, were Shane Riley, Dave Johnson, and Nancy Marstiller. In second place, with a score of 34 (but losing the chip-off) were Les Parrish, Billy Borst, Sue Chambers, and Mary Callewaert. Third place with a score of 35 were Ron Dufina, John Manakoff, Christi Dupre, and Pam Natter.

Whiner bucks went to Michael Compton, Dick Coates, Janet Stingel, and Mary Dufina. Closest to the Pin winners were David Sheppard and Syndee Borst.
