Regatta Date Is Changed to Sun.

The annual Around-the-Island Fourth of July regatta has been changed from Saturday, July 2, to Sunday, July 3. A skipper’s meeting will be at 12:30 p.m. at the Mackinac Island Yacht Club and the race will begin at 2 p.m. The East Breakwall will provide the starting point for the race around the Island. The finish line will lie between the breakwalls. The awards ceremony will be immediately after the race at the Pink Pony, which is sponsoring the event.

All boats are welcome. Each will be handicapped according to the Performance Handicap Rating Factor prior to the race start. There is no deadline for registration. For more information, contact David Rowe at (810) 516-5052.
