Mariah Horn, Corey Cole Wed June 4

Mariah Horn and Corey Cole
Mariah Horn of Mackinac Island and Corey Cole of Pleasantville, Pennsylvania, were married June 4, 2005, at Tahquamenon Falls, with Tom Marx of Mackinac Island officiating. Denise Romano of St. Ignace was the maid of honor and Daniel Dean of Higgins Lake was the best man.

Bridesmaids were Judy Mark of St. Ignace, Jill Horn of Mackinac Island, Jennifer Putnam of Mackinac Island, and Jenny Huffman of Hessel. Groomsmen included Nick Harrison of Houston, Texas, Chris White of Vacaville, California, Derrick Horn of St. Ignace, and Ben Horn of Mackinac Island.

Ring bearers were Joseph Horn-Kelly of St. Ignace and Hunter Brown of Mackinac Island.

Decorations were provided by Balloons and More of Sault Ste. Marie. Music was provided by Mike Grisdale of Cheboygan.

A reception was held in the conference room at Little Bear East Arena. Catering for the reception was provided by Debi Ferguson of Moran and her daughter, Sherry Cece, of Epoufette.

The bride is the daughter of Joe and Linda Horn. She is a 1997 graduate of Mackinac Island Public School and owns MK Landscaping and works at J&L Boarding, her father’s landscaping and horse board and lease business.

The groom is the son of Sharon and Richard Cole of Pleasantville. He is serving one year in Bahrain with the United States Coast Guard and has been stationed in St. Ignace for the past five years. He is a 1997 graduate of Chestnut High School in Pennsylvania.
