Dog Owners Should Pay

To the Editor:

I have to pay a hefty fee to bring my children, their bicycles, and myself to the Island, so I think it’s only fair that dog owners should have to pay to bring their dogs to the Island. Additionally, I have had to clean more dog “do”, and no, it is not the same as horse manure, off the bottom of my shoes this summer than any summer before. So, it seems that with each fee paid to bring a dog to the Island there should be issued some type of sanitary bag to the owners of the dogs that “do” on the Island.
