Trio Draws Ovation at July 17 Concert

As part of the summer Classical Concert Series, an audience of more than 40 people listened to the trio of (from left ) Sylvia Norris on harp, Dr. Tess Miller on flute, and Dr. Melissa Straus on bass Sunday, July 17, at Ste. Anne’s Church. They played French music and received a standing ovation. Their performance was the first of five concerts scheduled throughout July and August, sponsored by the Mackinac Island Community Foundation and the Mackinac Arts Council.
