Snag & Brag Contest Set
Fishing Tournament Expanded to 2 Days, August 20 and 21

A few changes have been made to this year’s Snag & Brag fishing tournament.

The tournament has been expanded into a two-day competition and will be held August 20 and 21. Registration for the event has already begun and is $100 per boat prior to the event and $125 on August 20. To register, call Chippewa Hotel at 847-3341 or stop in at the front desk.

Cash prizes and trophies will be given out again this year. Awards will include Largest Lunker, Heaviest Haul, Luck of the Draw, Six Pack Award, and Slippery Worm.

A party will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. Fresh salmon which was caught during the event will be cooked, and awards presented. Also, a silent auction will be held.

Proceeds from the Snag & Brag will go toward the Bernida Foundation.
