Hunting Adventure Story Concludes at Grand Hotel
Outdoor Writer Pens Romantic Adventure Book

Chris Zimmerman will sign his book, “Intentional Acts,” at The Island Bookstore Saturday, July 30, at 1 p.m.

“People like the story for a variety of reasons, but they really enjoy reading a romantic adventure that takes place in beautiful Northern Michigan,” said Mr. Zimmerman, who is a 1987 graduate of Lake Superior State University.

The book begins with a duck hunting incident on Lake Superior and ends on Mackinac Island.

“It has got all the goods — intrigue, a healthy dose of romance, betrayal and a surprise ending at the Grand Hotel that leaves the reader wishing it wouldn’t end,” said Mr. Zimmerman.

Mr. Zimmerman was an outdoor writer for the Sault Evening News in 1986 and was a contributor to the Lansing State Journal and several outdoor magazines.
