Islander Speaks on Upcoming Horse Book

Mackinac Island summer resident and Town Crier columnist Candice Dunnigan will be speaking at Mackinac Island Public Library Friday, July 29, at 4 p.m. about her horse research and upcoming book in a lecture entitled, “The Hack on Mack.”

She will be showing slides and lecturing about the history of horses on Mackinac Island, mainly their history after the summer of 1898.

Mrs. Dunnigan is the second speaker in the Library’s Summer Author Series.

The lecture is free and open to the public.
