Ft. Mackinac Alumni Reunion

Fort Mackinac Alumni will reunite Saturday, August 27, at Fort Mackinac. Katie Cederholm of Mackinac State Historic Parks is organizing the event and said former park employees from 1958 through 2005 are coming from Michigan, Arizona, New York, Iowa, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Ohio, British Columbia, and Ontario.

Events planned include a 3 p.m. volleyball game and a dinner catered by the Fort Mackinac Tea Room. Director Phil Porter will give a talk and a presentation of old photos will follow.

“After the dinner, we will have a lot of talking, reminiscing, and probably some impromptu music,” said Ms. Cederholm.
