Ryan and Jessica Fox of Mackinac Island announce the birth of their son, Alexander Harrison Edward Fox, born August 12, 2005, at Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey.

He weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces and measured 19.5 inches in length at birth.

Grandparents are John and Nancy Merriam of Toledo, Ohio, and Mopar and Lucy Senstad of St. Joseph, Minnesota. Great-grandfather is Edward Peternell of St. Stephen, Minnesota.
