Peggy and Thomas Largo

Peggy Ann Slade of Ann Arbor and Thomas Wheaton Largo of DeWitt were married Saturday, September 3, at Little Stone Church with the Reverend Vincent Carroll officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Alfred and Janet Heatley of Royal Oak and the groom is the son of Lois Largo and the late Dr. Donald Largo of Ann Arbor and Mackinac Island.

The bride wore a diamond white strapless A-line chiffon beaded gown with a cathedral veil and carried a bouquet of white roses with white freesia and variegated ivy.

Tina Knebel was the matron of honor and Pam Young-Zolkowsky and Janis Beagle were bridesmaids. The bridal party wore full-length strapless amethyst dresses.

Paul Muldoon was best man and Glen Young and Mark Marsh were groomsmen.

The reception was held at the Mackinac Island Yacht Club.

The newlyweds honeymooned in Napa Valley and San Francisco, California.
