Michigan History Photo Contest Youth can enter the 2006 Michigan Week youth photo contest which documents Michigan history through photography. Youth aged 9 to19 as of January 1, 2006, are eligible to submit up to two photographs by February 1. Any site that is 50 years old or older can be used. Youth may photograph buildings (like firehouses or schools), structures (like bridges), areas (like neighborhoods or fairgrounds), and objects (like monuments). Twelve photographs will be selected to tour Michigan for one year as an exhibit. Eighteen photographs will be selected as regional-winning photos. All 30 photographs will be posted on the State of Michigan Web site.
