Melissa Scibior, Jared Urman

Melissa and Jared Urman
Melissa Ann Scibior and Jared Thomas Urman, both of Petoskey, were married September 17, 2005, at 4 p.m. at Nubs Nob in Harbor Springs with Pastor Ken Straight of Mackinac Island Bible Church officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Diana Scibior of Petoskey and the groom is the son of Gary and Vicki Urman of Mackinac Island.

Meagan Burek served as maid of honor and bridesmaids were Tawna Cicala, Lyndsay Konkus, Sarah Wagner, and Anna Godzik. Trinity Burkharthe served as the flower girl.

Eli Urman, the groom’s brother, served as best man. Groomsmen were Tony Doud, Dustin Urman, Joshua Scibior, and Garrett Urman. Joe Cicala and Jimmy Cicala served as ushers and Jack Cicala was the ring bearer.

Guests attended a reception at Nubs Nob.

The bride has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Lake Superior State University and is employed by Darakjian Jewelers of Bay Harbor.

The groom was graduated from Mackinac Island Public School and has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Lake Superior State University. He also was graduated from Lockmasters Security Institute and owns and operates Access Locksmithing, Inc. in Petoskey.

The couple spent time in the Upper Peninsula immediately following the wedding, with plans to travel to Aruba in the spring. They will make their home in Petoskey.
