Mackinac Island Public School celebrated Spirit Week Monday, January 30, through Friday, February 3, in team fashion with students in grades eight through 12. Activities included a dress-up day and identification of foods while blindfolded.

In a relay clue hunt, students had to determine a teacher’s cellular telephone number and call the teacher to win. The teams also had a relay in which they were given clues to decipher.

A dance was held following the Beaver Island basketball and volleyball games Friday, February 3.
Dressing up as a food character was one of the Spirit Week activities. Miranda McMahon dressed as the Pillsbury Dough Boy and Shelbie Mosley was Mr. Peanut from Planter's Peanuts.
During Spirit Week, students performed karaoke style. Performing the song YMCA as the Village People musical group are (from left) Eric Cowell, Paul Fisher, Robert Chambers, and Jeff Roguska.
