Students Raffle Painting

The Class of 2006 is raising funds for their senior class trip to Arizona in May by raffling off a painting. Ten seniors are slated to be graduated this spring. The raffle painting is entitled “My Little Garden” and was painted by Pam Finkel, who is the Mackinac Island Public School art instructor. The 18-x 24-inch painting will be on display at the school until April, then it will be shown at First National Bank on Market Street. The drawing will be held April 12. Tickets are $5 each or three for $10. Tickets can be purchased at the school or from seniors. For more information, call the school at (906) 8473376.
