Jeannie Hosé, Robert Traxler Wed
     Jeannie Hosé and Robert Traxler were married Sunday, January 1, 2006, in the chapel at St. James Catholic Church in Bay City. The couple, who live at Woodbluff on Mackinac Island and in Saginaw, were united by long-time friend Father Bob DeLand.

     Mackinac Island’s champion speller is 5th grade student Louis Clark. He won top honors against his classmates and in a spelling bee against two class finalists each in grades five through eight.
