Family Finds Historic Island Connection
The Cloyd family enjoyed its first family reunion on Mackinac Island over the Fourth of July weekend. Family members stayed at several hotels and enjoyed hiking and cycling. A barbecue was hosted by Jack and Terrie Armstrong and a banquet was held at the Inn at Stonecliffe. Family members came from throughout the United States. James Cloyd a family ancestor was a soldier in the War of 1812 and was present during the signing of the Treaty of Greenville.
