Nine Businesses Renew Licenses

Nine Mackinac Island businesses have received license renewals to operate horses on Mackinac Island State Park roads. Their license applications were approved by the Mackinac Island State Park Commission Wednesday, March 22.

Businesses and their licenses are: Arrowhead Carriages, 12 livery, three dray; Chambers Riding Stable, 20 saddle horses; Gough Brodeur Stables, Inc., 50 saddle horses, 18 driveyourself buggies, three dray; Gough Taxi and Livery, one taxi, three livery, one dray; Grand Hotel, seven busses, five drays; Mackinac Island Carriage Tours, 12 taxi, six livery, 55 sightseeing, five dray; Mackinac Island Service Company, 19 dray; Mission Point Resort, three hotel busses, three dray; Star Freight of Mackinac, six dray.
