Happy Mother's Day to all. We wish you an abundance of peace, happiness, and good health. To be a mother is one of the most precious gifts on earth.

Thursday, May 4, was a bright, warm, sunny day with white clouds dancing in the heavenly blue sky. Walking up Cadotte Avenue, one suddenly sees the freshly-painted Grand Hotel, standing stalwart as it has for over a century. High above the Cupola Bar, Old Glory flies proudly as well as all the flags that grace the front of the hotel. The longest porch in the world is lined with flower boxes filled with red geraniums. To the east are beds of thousands of tulips, soon to burst into full bloom creating the most magnificent sight for all who visit our Island in the month of May.
