Michael Gamble Competes in Saints Baseball Program

Michael Gamble, wearing the new LaSalle High School baseball uniform, became the fifth athlete from Mackinac Island Public School to compete on the Saints baseball team.

The Michigan High School Athletic Association co-op program between St. Ignace and Mackinac Island has been a very successful situation between the two schools.

Jared Urman was the first to wear the Saints uniform, followed by Justin Gallagher, Eli Urman, and Josh Carley.

"Michael has baseball talent and we look forward to him being part of Saints baseball for the next three years," said Coach Louie Grondin Jr. "He can play a variety of positions and that is important to our program."
