Assistance Needed To Bring Veterans Memorial Wall
To the Editor:

I am writing this letter on behalf of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 274, Cheboygan. I would like to ask for assistance to help us bring the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Moving Wall to Cheboygan. The Moving Wall will be on display at the Cheboygan Fairgrounds from September 28 to October 2, 24 hours each day.

I hope you will have the opportunity to see this moving memorial to our heroes who never came home alive from the Vietnam War. If you would like to make a donation to help us, please make it to VVA 274, Moving Wall and drop it off for Bill Lenaghan at the Mackinac Island Police Department or drop it off for me to pick up at the DPW Office, or you can mail it to the Mackinac Island American Legion.

Mackinac Island has always been very good to its veterans and I hope you can help.

Paul M. Wandrie Sr.

Post Commander American Legion Post 299
