Gillian Birrell and Andrew Jones

Andrew Jones of Grand Ledge, formerly of Mackinac Island, and Gillian Birrell of Glasgow, Scotland, announce their wedding engagement to be married Monday, August 7.

Mr. Jones is the son of Donna and Larry Jones of Grand Ledge and is a 2001 graduate of Mackinac Island Public School. He is pursuing a college degree in history.

Miss Birrell is the daughter of Thomas and Margaret Birrell of Glasgow, Scotland. She is a hotel manager in Glasgow.

The couple plan to live in Glasgow after they are married at Ste. Anne's Catholic Church on Mackinac Island.
