Lilac Festival Merchandise Available

New merchandise for Lilac Festival enthusiasts to add to their collections include wine glasses, note cards, and key chains, all sold by the Mackinac Island Tourism Bureau to support the festival.

Lilac Festival wine glasses are available in sets of two for $24.95. The glasses are 11 ounces and display the Lilac Festival logo in white.

Also new are handmade note cards with the Lilac Festival logo. Boxed sets of six will be sold for $12.95. Note cards for the Dog and Pony Show will also be available at the show on Saturday, June 17.

The Lilac Festival key chain is available for $9.95. It has the Lilac Festival logo on a frosted silver and brushed chrome rotating disc.

Paintings by Wolfgang is selling the commemorative Liac Festival poster, "Lilac Crossroads," for $9.50 and a limited edition lithograph for $75. The lithograph is 8 inches by 10 inches and there are only 200 of the museum quality, signed, and numbered copies available.

The lithograph was an addition to last year's Lilac Festival because many people had asked for a smaller, but still affordable version of the poster, Tourism Bureau Director Mary Slevin said.

Posters at the gallery are signed by the artist and other Island stores are selling unsigned posters, also for $9.50. Magnets with the image of the poster sell for $3.

Many Island shops also sell lilac-theme apparel and Weber's Floral and Gift on Market Street offers several varieties of lilac plants.
