48 Enter First Wawashkamo Spring Scramble

Wawashkamo Golf Course held its first Spring Scramble Saturday, June 3, with 48 players entering.

Six teams comprised the women's division. First place

went to Sandra and Debra Orr, with a score of 76. Lin Sheppard and Kay Berke took second with a score of 77 and Brenda Bunker and Jennifer Bloswick won the Callaway Flight with a net score of 74.

Debra Orr won closest to the pin on hole four, longest drive on hole six, and the longest putt on hole 14.

Eighteen teams entered in the men's division. Jeff Lynch and Ron Steensma took first place with a score of 66. Second place was a tie between Cub Horn and Bob Andress and Tony Doud and Alex Preston with both teams scoring 68.

Fourth place went to Lou Bunker and Clay fuller with a score of 69. The men's Callaway Division was won by Craig Bunker and Jack Dehring with a net score of 70, and second place went to Rusty and Alex Preston with a net score of 71.
