Mackinac Island Library Summer Reading Program To Begin June 21

The Mackinac Island Public Library will host a summer reading program, "Paws, Claws, Scales, and Tales," for children in kindergarten and first grade, ages three through six.

The hour-long program will be Wednesdays at 11 a.m. and will begin Wednesday, June 21.

Erica Arbib will lead the program and storytelling will be the main focus.

"I want to be a teacher and like to do stuff with little kids," she said. Her goal is that the children have fun and make friends.

The program is free and open to the public.
