Annual Regatta To Be held July 2

The annual Fourth of July Around the Island Regatta will be held Sunday, July 2. Previously in the Calender of Events, the date was listed as July 1.

The skipper's meeting will take place at the Mackinac Island Yacht Club at 12:30 p.m. All sailboats are welcome to participate. The race starts at 2 p.m. off the East breakwall.

The Pink Pony Bar and Grill, which sponsors the regatta, will also host the awards ceremony on the patio immediately after the race. Refreshments will be available for all participants and guests, and cabin plaques will be provided to each entry.
