Island Residents Enjoy Twilight Carriage Ride

The second annual Carriage Rally, organized by the Mackinac Horsemen's Association, was held Thursday, July 6, behind Fort Mackinac. Brodeur of the Horsemen's Association passed out fruit, cookies, and champagne to the participants, toasting "The good life." The route took the antique carriages down Garrison Road, along the East Bluff, and back up through the center of the Island. It finished with a ride through Hubbard's Annex.
