Classical Music, Jazz Fill Ste. Anne's in Music Series

From left, bassist Melissa Straus, percussionist Scott Harding, flutist Tess Miller, and pianist Michelle Beaton performed a concert at Ste. Anne's Catholic Church Sunday, July 16, as part of the Mackinac Island Community Foundation's free Summer Concert Series. The cross-genre performance featured many unique pieces, ranging from classical to contemporary and a blending of jazz and baroque music. Ms. Straus spends summers at her family cottage in the Annex, while Ms. Miller and Mr. Harding have a home at Trillium Heights.
