Peggy Bynoe To Perform Piano Recital at Ste. Anne's Saturday

Mackinac Island summer resident and pianist Peggy Bynoe will perform Sunday, August 6, at 2 p.m. at Ste. Anne's Church. She will be playing piano selections by Scarlatti, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Brahms, Debussy, Harrison, and Barry.

Ms. Bynoe was graduated from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids in December of 2005 with a degree in music education and piano as her applied instrument. She received various awards while at Aquinas and participated in an International Mission on Music in Central and Eastern Europe with 40 other students from around the United States. She is member of Ste. Anne's Church and plays piano for the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday masses.

This is the fifth of seven concerts in the 2006 Summer Concert Series, which is sponsored by the Mackinac Island Community Foundation.

The concert is free and open to the public.
