Jazz Band To Play

Music in Mackinaw will feature Northwest Academy Pine River Jazz Saturday, August 12, at 8 p.m. at Conkling Heritage Park in Mackinaw City. The concert is free of charge.

Band members Dan Jacobs, Doug Houseworth, Susan Houseworth, Gary Stutzman, and Bob Bellairs specialize in Dixieland jazz. The group's frontman, Mr. Jacobs, is one of the outstanding trumpeters of the Midwest and his style has set him apart from others in the field.
