Alex Rader, Chris Lore Wed at Grand Hotel

Alex and Chris Lore.
Alex Rader and Chris Lore of Los Angeles were married on the Grand Hotel porch June 16, 2006, in a ceremony performed by the Reverend Ian Shephard, a lifelong friend of the groom.

Guests attended from Arizona, California, New Hampshire, New York and Michigan and included the bride's mother and sister, Sandra and Devora Rader, the groom's parents, John and Judy Lore, and his brother and sister-in-law, Matthew and Andrea Lore.

The couple met while working on "The Big Brother" television series.

The bride is supervising producer for the CBS show, "Amazing Race." She received an Emmy for that show in 2005 and is again nominated for an Emmy in 2006.

The groom is executive producer for Granada Productions in London and produces shows in England, South Africa, Australia, Brazil, and Fiji. He recently won a British Actors Screen Guild Award for his production of the United Kingdom reality television show, "I'm A Celebrity."

The groom's parents, John and Judy Lore, live in Bay City and are frequent visitors to Mackinac Island, where Mr. Lore serves on the board of the Mackinac Island Community

Foundation and Mrs. Lore serves on the Foundation's Arts Committee.
