Bridge Traffic Dips

Traffic crossing the Mackinac Bridge in June dipped 1.8 percent compared to June 2005.

In June, 429,061 vehicles crossed the span, while 436,952 crossed in June 2005.

Traffic for 2006 is 2.6 percent behind last year's pace, with 1,682,716 vehicles crossing this year and 1,727,157 crossing in 2005, according to the Mackinac Bridge Authority.
