MACKINAC ISLAND POLICE REPORTS

Reports from the Mackinac Island Police Department from August 5 to August 11.

A male was cited for disorderly conduct for urinating in public on 5th Street, near Cadotte Avenue, August 7, at 2:20 a.m. The man argued with police that there were no public restrooms in Harrisonville to use and he could not go in the woods because of foxes. The subject said he did not believe he was doing anything wrong because he was off the main road.

A male was arrested Tuesday, August 8, at 1:55 a.m. for disorderly person after arguing with a manager at the restaurant and yelling profanities.

From August 5 to August 11, police recorded 48 incidents, which included 12 bicycle larcenies and one false fire alarm. No citations were issued for minor in possession.
