The Art of the Guitar

Roger Humphrey performed a guitar concert at Ste. Anne's Catholic Church Sunday, August 13, as part of the seven-week Summer Concert Series presented by the Mackinac Island Community Foundation. His performance included classical guitar compositions from composers such as Anton Diabelli, Luys Milan, and Isaac Albeniz. Mr. Humphrey first began playing guitar at the age of 10, and teaches guitar lessons at Marshall Music in Lansing. He is also on faculty at Olivet College and Alma College and has written guitar method books for both adults and young children.
