Bolander Celebrates 100th

Mackinac Island resident Richard Bolander's mother, Marie Bolander, will celebrate her 100th birthday Friday, September 15. Mrs. Bolander was an elementary school teacher in Ohio for more than 35 years. She enjoyed knitting and continues to play cards and board games.

Her sons, Richard and James, and their families, will host an open house Sunday, September 17, at the Genoa Care Center in Genoa, Ohio.
