Rabies Clinic Open Sept. 21

The Dr. Mary Alban from Straits Veterinary Clinic will conduct a rabies clinic Thursday, September 21, from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Chambers riding stable, at the corner of Market Street and Cadotte Avenue. No appointment is necessary and animals will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis.

The clinic is sponsored by the Mackinac Island Community Foundation.

Dogs must be on leashes and cats must be on leashes or in cages.

The cost for the rabies vaccination will be $15. If the pet has a previous vaccination, the owner should bring that certificate along.
