Island Featured on PBS Show

Students from Mackinac Island will be featured on the Boston-based children's television show "Postcards from Buster," Tuesday, December 26. The show will air on the Public Broadcasting Service television station WCMU out of Mt. Pleasant.

Producers from "Postcards from Buster," visited the Island last winter to film the episode, "The Mitten of Mackinac Island," which includes filming Island student Scott Roguska, who demonstrates to Buster how to film a movie with special affects without using the latest technology, like having a mitten chase children.

Island students filmed in the episode include Lou Clark, Jacob Chambers, Dana Roguska, Kyra Kolatski, Colton Fisher, Tymon Horn, and Jeff Roguska. Island locations appearing in the segment include Windermere Point, Main Street, Arnold Dock, British Landing, and Fort Holmes.
