William and Erica Chambers of Mackinac Island and Gaithersburg, Maryland, announce the arrival of their first child, Shannon Grace Chambers. She was born December 15, 2006, at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland, weighing 6 pounds, 6 ounces and measuring 19-3/4 inches long.

Her grandparents are Larry and Donna Jones of Grand Ledge and James and the late Barbara Chambers of Mackinac Island.
