Parks Student Program Gets Grant

Mackinac State Historic Parks received a $500 grant to support the agency's Education Outreach program, which sends reenactors and naturalists to Michigan classrooms to promote history, ecology, and park programs.

The grant is from HSBC - North America, the parent company of Household Finance Corporation, and was obtained by Ken Crawford, branch manager of the Traverse City office and a member of Mackinac Associates, the Mackinac State Historic Parks friends group.
