Sylvia Perault Named Snow Queen for 31st Winter Festival

Brenda Bunker tosses the colorful dice during the turtle race at Great Turtle Park. Each colored die is matched with a turtle the number thrown determines how far each turtle moves forward on the race track. Donald "Jamie" Andress, 20, shows off his magic to Island high school senior Kristi Kamphuis during Sunday's Winter Festival. By using magic, Mr. Andress was able to bend and eventually break a fork by merely rubbing and shaking the utensil, to the crowd's amazement. He works at Doc's House of Magic on during the summer and has been practicing magic since August. Zhané Nash slides down a table in an obstacle course where participants had to balance a ball on a cylinder as they go.
